As co-founder of Sutro Science, I conduct, peer review, and manage complex technical assessments for large-scale, often contentious, environmental planning and compliance efforts pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Our work supports a wide range of water resource, renewable energy, development, and infrastructure projects.Sutro Science provides hydrologic, geologic, groundwater, storm water, water quality, and fisheries based technical, policy, and regulatory support for all phases of the environmental planning and compliance process. We bring unique expertise in applying a science-based approach to support CEQA and NEPA environmental impact analysis and mitigation strategy development. We also bring our commitment to communication.Through our combined 30 years of experience, we know that the critical issues can get obscured. Sutro Science was formed around the core principle that environmental assessments, although often complex, must be communicated clearly. A common understanding enables an open dialogue between stakeholders.
