Mr. Tegels has been Technical Manager for Special Inspections and Combined Services, Project Manager, Construction manager, Field Geologist, and Environmental and Materials Field Technician since joining the construction industry in 2002. He has been responsible for leading teams who provide full and part-time Special Inspections/Materials Testing, design, and survey for large projects, including data center, hospital, education, and industrial construction. Mr. Tegels also has considerable geotechnical and environmental investigation experience including: logging borings (soil and rock), field investigation logistics, bid estimates, Phase I and II ESAs, Tier I and II site remediation, and proposal/report writing for projects throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. He has completed many in-situ field tests, including: cone penetrometer soundings (CPT’s), seismic CPTs (SCPTs), pressure meter tests (PMTs), and flat-blade dilatometer tests (DMT’s).
