About Justin Thar

I have been working hard since I was a kid, spending many days after school and weekends working with my father learning metal fabrication, and over the years experienced many other types of work. I spent a few year is my early teens working in shipping/receiving for a small business. I worked with a moving company, and then started doing electrical for a short while. I eventually moved into more construction, starting out doing HVAC install. After a few years I switched companies to my current employer, where I started as a driver. I eventually got my CDL, where my role would then be driving semi trucks, as well as being the tool manager for the mechanical division. As years went by I moved my way around trying new things until I found my current position, running the Trimble department. I now manage all layout done for our jobs using Trimble (Robotic Total Stations), from underground to high rises. I get drawings from our detailers, and work with them to get them into files we then use with our machines. I am familiar with AutoCad, and have some knowledge in other Autodesk software. I am always interested in learning new skills, and trying to better myself, which has always been a rewarding experience.
