Reporting directly to the CCO, and representing all of Support Services in our Senior Leadership Team, I pride myself on supporting and empowering my team to deliver best in class support services for a rapidly growing customer base. Here are some of the foundational tactics & edicts I rely on: 🤜🤛 Say what needs to be said, even if it's challenging - Far too often fear and anxiety stop us from openly communicating about issues and this can a death sentence for businesses. Build a culture that is not afraid to speak their minds and discuss problems. Create space for growth - If you can't make mistakes, you can't learn and grow. This applies to myself, and my team. Every wrong turn is an opportunity to find a new road. 🫠 Anti-micro management - Your team needs to have creative & intellectual freedom to deliver effective results to your customers. Hire the right people, and empower them to take ownership. 🤪Laugh as often, and as loudly as you can - Relaxed environments help manage the daily stresses and demands of work. Calm leaders help keep stability when adapting to the needs of the business. Run towards the fire - In business, and in life, that fire is only going to cause more damage if you ignore it. Celebrate the wins - Stop and savor the moment. It's easy to always want more, and that drives us to not appreciate what we've accomplished. Recognize the hard work of you, and especially your team.
