I've been developing software since I was thirteen, most recently specializing in high-performance NLP extraction and classification workloads. I have many years of management and organizational development experience building a single 7 person data team into seven teams including pipeline engineers, data scientists, taxonomists, product leads, analysts, and others. I lead from the front by being an exceptional software developer myself. I've overseen and managed major technology, process, and organizational changes including- Increasing product deployment cadence from quarterly to daily- Total technical overhaul over a period of 9 months with zero downtime and rewritten components continuously deployed throughout- Inventing and implementing new techniques for high-throughput NLP processing- Building performant APIs for massive data query workloads- Smooth conversion of version control systems, APIs, workflows, and languages.
