About Justin Yee

I get to help some of the most interesting public and private projects in B.C. connect and engage with audiences strategically. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of leading strategic communications programs and managing client service teams. Together, we've developed influential public consultations, supported meaningful Indigenous and stakeholder engagements, launched creative campaigns, and provided issues management advice to clients navigating complex issues. The best part of what I do is that it’s never the same. Whether it's a major energy project or regional transportation infrastructure, every organization, project, stakeholder, and community is unique. DM me if you think you know the answer! I speak four languages, which means I’m linguistically confused. Malay grammar? Mandarin syntax? Cantonese slang? I promise I get it right most of the time. I was once in a room with Canada’s two most famous Justins, and all I said was “I’m a Justin too!” 3. I lived out of a backpack for a month so I could fly out on a moment’s notice to support a project during a crisis. I almost succumbed to hypothermia while winter camping in the Valhalla Ranges because I packed the wrong pair of thermal underwear. I always triple check now. I thrive under high pressure situations, the tighter the deadline the better. Just don’t tell the client that.
