About Justine Audrain

Development professional with +13 years experience, political scientist and urban planner by training, specialized in climate finance and adaptation by passion. I started my career working in France on major infrastructure and sustainable urban development projects, managing portfolios of public and private investments of up to 500M€. Moving to Antigua-and-Barbuda in 2019, I discovered the peculiar challenges faced by small island developing states and started to focus on financing climate change action in development contexts. Since then, I have worked on bridging the financing gap in more than 15 countries around the world At the United Nations Capital Development Fund, I work with local governments and the private sector to match communities' needs to adapt to climate change and catalyze financing where it is most needed, at the local level. I love what I do, because I believe it contributes to building a better world for everyone.
