About Justyna Swat

With a background in environmental civil engineering and and a degree in architecture and urban planning, I am driven by a passion for sustainability and innovation. My diverse experience spans from industrial to urban design, with a constant focus on creating impactful and environmentally conscious solutions. My time in academia deepened my expertise in design and design methodologies, reinforcing my commitment to tackling complex challenges. After a decade of contributing to and leading various projects in both industry and academia, I founded TINYLABS. Our mission is to help organizations navigate complexity through systemic design, integrating beauty, elegance, and nature. TINYLABS is dedicated to transforming our approach to sustainability and technology, creating a positive impact on both society and the environment. Join us on this journey towards a better and more harmonious world. We have the honor of advising leading government institutions on sustainable design, socio-technical innovation, and technology. Among these prestigious collaborations, we support the Agence de l'Environnement et de la Maîtrise de l'Énergie (ADEME) in developing a new method of systemic innovation, Extreme Défi (XD). Previously, we collaborated with the Department of Disruptive Innovation at the Centre National d'Études Spatiales (CNES) on the development of the Open Space Makers Federation.
