About Juuso Hellberg

I am a Master's student in Software and Service Engineering at Aalto University with a passion for building user-centric software solutions. With a strong foundation in full-stack development and business intelligence solutions. My school and hobby experience spans several programming languages and frameworks, with the strongest experience in React.js/ts, Scala, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript. I also have a strong foundation in Software Engineering via courses like Software Processes and Projects, Software Engineering, and Software Modelling and Design. I also have a huge passion for ideating and creating concepts for new solutions and designing user-friendly and intuitive UIs with Figma. I'm currently working as a consultant at Goodin. My responsibilities and tasks depend heavily on the project I'm working on but I mainly focus on creating BI solutions with Power BI and Qlik Cloud, like dashboards and reports, and data engineering with Databricks and DBT. In this position, strong technical skills on various technologies and communication/teamworking skills are important. Beyond coding and design, 14 years of dedication to Shukokai Karate, including 12 years on Finland’s national team, has provided me with creativity, perseverance, and discipline when facing any challenge. As a volunteer karate instructor, I have developed strong communication and mentorship skills. I am always eager to explore new technologies, refine my expertise, and contribute to projects that make a meaningful impact.
