About Juuso Kojo

With over 20 years of experience in education and training, I am passionate about leveraging digital technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and collaboration. Currently, I work in the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Oulu, directly under the education dean as part of the faculty’s administration team. My role focuses on mentoring teachers in their digitalization efforts and coordinating the faculty's teaching digitalization initiatives. Additionally, I contribute to university-wide committees dedicated to advancing the digital transformation of teaching and learning at a strategic level. My core competencies include strategic development and coordination of teaching digitalization initiatives, effective networking, and supporting educators in adopting digital tools and frameworks. I specialize in the strategic design and implementation of digital learning environments, providing pedagogical guidance for digital transformation, and contributing to institutional-level digitalization strategies. Additionally, I have extensive experience in organizing and facilitating remote events, promoting collaborative models, and utilizing pedagogical frameworks such as TPACK, SAMR, and DigCompEdu. My mission is to empower teachers and learners to embrace the digital transformation and achieve their educational goals.
