About K. MacKenzie Scott

Learning is one of my favorite activities - especially learning about people, systems, and complex challenges like how organizational ownership shapes work culture and management practices. I am also an incorrigible fixer. One of the problems that's currently energizing me is: how do we prepare the U.S. to integrate AI into the economy & at work? As a strategic researcher, I'm at my best when using and developing research to inform critical decisions, whether in policy or in business. My approaches include brainstorming potential strategies as part of a team, ferreting out relevant research and examples, and using data to develop insights. The best teams I've been on have integrated highly technical and nontechnical people, drawing on insights from multiple perspectives. It's important to me that the research I work on is objective and high-quality, as well as accessible and translatable into action. I'm always very glad to hear from people with similar ideals & interests. Please do reach out, and I appreciate your patience. As a note, I am only intermittently on LinkedIn, and unfortunately, I can no longer accept requests from anyone I haven't met in person.
