About Kaceja Calder

I am a recent graduate of computer science at the University of Florida and interested in becoming part of a team that values creativity and innovation. I have always had an interest in video games and animation, especially as a tool for innovative storytelling.I am proficient in C++, Python and various other programminglanguages. Through class projects I have experienced game design through C++, when I createda version of Minesweeper, and through the Unity game engine, where I created a 2D game basedon renewable energies in Florida. Additionally I was part of a year long project where I worked to make 3D virtual environments in Unity applications accessible to those who are blind or have low vision.I have had an interest in animation for a long time because it allows for a depth and creativity instorytelling that isn’t possible in other mediums. I do have experience in 3D modelling andanimation as well as the more technical side of 3D rendering using OpenGL where I created custom 3D rendering software utilizing the graphics pipeline and raytracing.
