About Kacey Lambert

With a diverse career spanning multiple sectors, I have a proven track record in business development and a strong commitment to supporting under-resourced communities. At Kids University (Kids-U), I’ve led initiatives that extend beyond traditional business development, including building a successful fundraising program that doubled donations within four months. I’ve also driven impactful social media and marketing efforts, such as monthly giving campaigns, the annual fundraiser, and the Christmas Angel and backpack drives. My leadership supports a dedicated team providing after-school tutoring and family services, including parenting classes, ESL, and GED programs, to 100% low-income children at six DFW-area sites. Prior to Kids-U, as Development Director for the Humane Society of Yuma, I specialized in grant writing, event planning, and fundraising strategies, resulting in significant financial growth and operational improvements. My role also involved managing budgets and designing events that consistently surpassed fundraising goals. Earlier in my career, I worked in the civilian sector of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, where I led sponsorship and business development initiatives, including organizing the Airshow, which drew over attendees. This experience honed my skills in marketing and event development to support the well-being of Marines and their families. Throughout my career, I’ve delivered results by creating and implementing successful development and marketing strategies. I’m passionate about fostering growth, community engagement, and sustainability in mission-driven organizations while staying true to core values like quality, empowerment, integrity, inclusivity, community, and transparency. My ultimate goal is to help youth and families achieve their full potential.
