About Kade York

At UTRGV, I am a committed student-athlete working on a bachelor's degree in accounting. I haven't had a typical job experience, but by actively contributing to the growth of my father's company, I have acquired vital insights and abilities. I'm passionate about business development and want to use my entrepreneurial training and expertise to have a significant effect. I performed a variety of critical activities that had a big impact on our business operations in my capacity as a substantial contributor to my father's business. One of my duties was installing slatwall, and I was able to show my abilities in maximizing our retail area for tactical product placement and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, I expertly created eye-catching showcases that not only enhanced the look of the store overall but also drew clients' attention to our merchandise. My contributions also included inventory management, where I carried out precise counts and put into place careful inventory control procedures to ensure effective stock management and lower operational expenses. These practical experiences strengthened my commitment to fostering corporate success and achieving operational excellence by giving me useful skills and a strong eye for detail.
