Looking to further my career in the healthcare field where I can utilize my professional skills which will allow room for growth. One of my main goals is being able to gain the most out of my Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, however, medical coding is my passion. I am certified through AAPC. Current roles involves front end coding duties such as e/m leveling, assigning correct diagnoses, applying appropriate modifiers. Highly skilled in working both inpatient and outpatient coding for various specialties. I’ve also worked coding denials/rejections for many different specialties. I am familiar with CCI edits and making sure codes are billed properly. I am also experienced in all areas of billing which includes resolving any billing issues identified by the carrier as well as working claim denials and applying corrective actions for payment. Very knowledgeable with various insurance carriers such as Medicare, Medicaid, and etc. Precise skills in billing primary, secondary, and tertiary claims. Highly skilled in account receivable and generating high dollar revenue. I think what sets me apart is that I have strong leadership skills and the ability to train others and displays outstanding efforts to help a company succeed.
