Kader Talu is a Turkish patent and trademark specialist who acts for national and international clients in all areas of obtaining and enforcing intellectual property rights. She has been actively engaged in various areas of intellectual property law, business development and international operations. Since 2019, she has been providing consultancy services to national and international clients. She provides consultancy services for trademark, patent and industrial design proceedings before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, and she handles the application procedures on behalf of the clients and follows up the process. Before the Ministry of Trade, she handles applications and follow-up on the protection of intellectual and industrial property rights at Customs on behalf of clients. She also provides services in trademark registrability searches and trademark use searches. In order to prevent infringements, she is also responsible for researching and reporting similar trademarks of registered trademarks. She is also responsible for monitoring and reporting on international trademark applications filed by clients through the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and taking action when required. She is in contact with the attorneys in the relevant countries in order for clients to protect their intellectual property rights internationally and to maintain the existing protection. Thus, she ensures that the processes are easily and smoothly completed.
