About Kaela Generally

Having worked in several fields, I have a vast multitude of skills encompassing those necessary for education, music, and also retail management. I am knowledgeable on various methods of teaching special education students and am trained in a myriad of things ranging from nonviolent crisis intervention to teaching braille. I also have had the privilege of conducting teacher institute functions on the subject of classroom management. I was also honored with the task of writing and setting up a curriculum for special education classes that focus on behavior management. This curriculum established a program for students who had served time for violent crimes but still desired a high school diploma upon release from detainment. I have also had the opportunity to write online advertisements for a variety of types of companies. I have also written articles for websites and blogs on topics ranging from surviving serious health issues to single motherhood, to military life, to parenting special needs children. I've also written inspirational pieces geared toward women facing personal trials and/or trying to recover from physical abuse. From a very young age, I have been a musician and singer. Having performed in both plays and musicals, I often sing in choirs and ensembles. Having studied voice, I also perform as a soloist. I am capable of writing both music and lyrics, and I also play various instruments. Currently working in retail management, my job focuses on the day to day operations of the business side of running a store. I write the schedule for the employees, handle the ordering of supplies for the store, manage the receiving and processing of incoming stock to be sold, and also am responsible for maintaining paperwork and correspondence to the corporate division. I am also responsible for calling prospective employees and conducting interviews. Along with my other responsibilities, I must maintain the visual image of the store, keeping up with signage changes and fixtures that may need to be altered.
