About Kai Kline

I am a strong clinician and leader with a diverse skillset and knowledge base (including clinical work, outreach, curriculum development and implementation, and research). My passion is in helping others, whether clients or colleagues, to thrive and recognize their full potential. My niche expertise is working clinically with gender and sexual minority groups. This expertise stretches beyond clinical work and into consulting and education, specifically DEI work and facilitating safe and inclusive environments within mental health care. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) working as a Family Therapist at The Meadows Adolescent Center, a 90-day residential facility for teen boys. I developed and currently implement an intensive family week curriculum, which is designed to promote full family healing. I have worked clinically for several years, during which time I developed expertise in gender identity and sexuality and common co-occurring mental health challenges. My academic background includes rigorous empirical training, which has allowed me to combine both the clinical and research aspects of the mental health field into my current role as a therapist. Eligible for independent licensure on July 1, 2023 (all direct hour and supervision requirements are met as of 02/02/2023).
