About Kai Lim

My name is Kai. I’m a Singaporean entrepreneur who ventured to New York to build Reprise - a CPG brand on a mission to modernize Traditional Eastern Herbs. Reprise puts authentic WHOLE herbs, like Ginseng and Goji Berries, into tasty and convenient gummies. As a kid, my grandma would add these Asian superfoods to soups and teas. This was part of a longstanding tradition of nurturing happy and healthy families. But as an adult, I completely lost touch with this cultural practice. Reprise is about taking these functional Asian superfoods and making them tasty and convenient. We partnered with a 5th generation family company from Taiwan, who have been extracting herbs for over 100 years. This way, every gummy has the most potent and most authentic herbs in every bite. The best part of my job is hearing how many people love our gummies! The press is starting to notice us too. We’ve been featured in Forbes, Coveteur, W Magazine, and more. I believe we’re part of a movement that’s going back to the basics. We know these herbs have been proven over thousands of years to be good for you. Now, with Reprise gummies, everyone can enjoy the wisdom of these ancient superfoods - and incorporate them into their daily health routines. Before this, I was a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group and received my MBA from Harvard Business School ('20). Reprise was a significant deviation from the traditional path I was comfortable with – I've since learned so much from the vicarious wisdom of other founders and from my (sometimes painful) personal experience. I'm eager to share experiences, exchange perspectives, and grow together!
