About Kai Ostermann

Kai is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with 30 years in the Travel & Tourism industry representing companies such as Lufthansa, Iberia Airlines, Aerolineas Argentinas, the Irish Tourist Board, and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts (Europe and the Americas) where he helped drive media and promotional coverage of Walt Disney World’s 25th Anniversary, the grand opening of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and the global Millennium celebration. Following his time with Disney, Kai joined News Plus Comms as Managing Director of Europe, where he successfully managed press and publicity for destinations such as Australia, Hawaii, Texas, Kenya, India, and the Seychelles. In 2009, Kai launched his own company – the representations agency Global Spot focusing on tourism and travel industry solutions in Europe. He has represented Tourism and Events Queensland as Director Europe for the Australian Sunshine State with sales, marketing, and public relations activity across Europe (incl. the Nordic region) for which he won the 2009 Best Marketing Campaign Award for the “Best Job In The World” viral promotion in Germany. Kai is recognized as a passionate, driven, and enthusiastic go-getter.
