About Kaija Bosket

I am a creative with a diverse background and an unconventional journey.My career began co-managing a successful food pop-up, which eventually led me into the craft chocolate industry. Over the next four years, I honed my skills in making some of the world’s best chocolate, including a year-long stint in Tokyo. There, I refined my process and expanded my expertise, immersing myself in the beauty, precision, and timelessness of Japanese craft and design.Inspired by my surroundings, I started teaching myself how to repair clothes, upcycle thrifted items, and pattern garments from measurement. This passion for sustainable fashion led to the creation of EvilSpy Company, my small, slow-fashion brand. For the past two years, I’ve also worked as an alterations and repair specialist at a Swedish trekking gear company known as a long-time leader in sustainable production and design. In my own time, I take on commissions, designing and constructing custom garments that prioritize fit and personalization. This experience has sharpened my attention to detail and deepened my understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and client relations.I'm now excited to leverage my multifaceted background in a Product Development or Technical Design role. I am passionate about bridging creativity and practicality to develop innovative, high-quality products. My goal is to contribute to sustainable production practices and craft long-lasting, beautiful garments that are both accessible and desired by a wide range of people.
