About Kailee Smith

Hi, I’m, Kailee Smith a 2021 graduate of Plymouth State University, who studied marketing with a minor in Global Tourism. I am part of the Nationally recognized sales program and there are a couple of things I would like you to remember me by. I am very dependable and driven. I strive to be the best I can be and work hard for everything. In 2013 I was accepted into People to People Student Ambassador Programs in which I would have to come up with to travel for an educational experience. Many times, I was told there was no way I would ever be able to raise that amount on my own. Being determined to prove them wrong I dedicated every weekend for 6 months to fundraise the money I needed to complete this great opportunity. I didn’t just fundraise what I needed, but more, which allowed me to see five countries I would have never thought that I would have been able to see. On-campus I am involved in Admissions by giving tours to prospective students. I have been a part of the program for three years and often find myself covering tours for other representatives that cannot. Even with commuting to PSU I have found difficulties to overcome, especially having a set schedule to give tours. Somehow, I always find my way to campus, when help is needed. Along with volunteering and working in the Admissions office, I have worked at Physical Plant for the past 2 1/2 years on grounds. Through the many opportunities that have been given to me, I have been able to use the many skills in the workforce.
