As a dedicated accounting student at Saint Mary’s University with a 4.0 GPA, I’m on track to complete my Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting by May 2025. With a solid academic foundation and completion of all CPA prerequisite courses, I’m actively working towards earning my CPA designation. My journey in accounting is enriched by diverse experiences, including a practicum at ANR Chartered Professional Accountants, where I gained hands-on experience in data entry, report preparation, tax return processing, and audit assistance. This experience sharpened my analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records, and reinforced my commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards. Beyond accounting, I’ve held roles in library services, education, and bakery operations, each of which has honed my adaptability and broadened my perspective on different work environments. I leverage advanced tools like Excel and Power BI to ensure precise financial data analysis, supporting informed decision-making processes. In addition to my technical expertise in budgeting, reconciliations, and data modelling, I bring strong organizational and time management skills to every project.
