About Kailey Kon

I am a Marketing Student at the University of Illinois Chicago, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing with an expected graduation date of May 2024. I have a strong interest in public relations, communications, and social media marketing, and I am eager to learn and apply new skills and knowledge into these fields. I have completed multiple courses and projects related to marketing principles, consumer behavior, digital marketing, strategic communication, demonstrating my ability to work independently and in teams, as well as to deliver high-quality presentations and reports. I am also proficient in various computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and Google Analytics. As a PR & Communications Intern at Chicago Transit Authority, I contribute to the development and implementation of various public relations and communications strategies and initiatives. I assist with creating and editing press releases, media kits, newsletters, and social media content, as well as conducting research and analysis on public transit issues and trends. I also support the coordination and execution of media events and community outreach programs, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote the CTA's vision and mission.
