About Kaisa Halonen

I am a fashion and clothing expert with strong skills in fashion product development. I have worked as pattern maker, technical product developer and dressmaker, and today in my role I am also leading the team of amazing technical product development experts at Marimekko. Working and studying in the field of fashion as well as both leading and participating in several cross-functional projects has given me a wide range of learnings also beyond my current main responsibilities. Thus, I am also familiar with for example sustainability aspects, material knowledge, business thinking, sourcing and design. As an employee I am precise, motivated and efficient. In addition to my mother tongue Finnish, I speak and can work with English and Swedish. When it comes to my personality, I find myself positive, enthusiastic, social and easy to work with in all situations. Above all, it shines through that I enjoy what I do!
