I am a business developer with over fifteen years of experience in the digital realm. I have a proven track record of new business development and account management. My clients operate in different domains and range from inspired start-ups to industry-leading corporates, who believe software is eating the world and who want to create their own futures. Working closely with them provides me a front-row seat at what's happening in digitalisation now and in the future. As a business developer I believe that the best results are born out of truly listening and understanding clients, solving their actual problems, transparent communications and delivering value. My job is to make sure this happens at every stage of the delivery process from initial sales phase to the actual delivery. Building and inspiring teams with the right attitude and skillset is my way of ensuring the best results. I have several years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams of varying sizes and nationalities. As a team leader and a supervisor it is my responsibility to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of my team members and bring the best out of each individual. I am capable of motivating people from varying cultures and backgrounds and I strive to build a positive team spirit so that each team member feels appreciated for their efforts and achievements. I avoid micromanagement and allow team members the time and space to do their best. I spent the early years of my professional life in a start-up and that equipped me with the get-things-done attitude and fearlessness in difficult situations that are my core strengths. I work best outside my comfort zone and I am constantly looking ways to learn and improve. I am a nice person who believes that treating others with respect and honesty creates the trust that is the foundation of any great relationship.
