About Kait Zonfrelli

I am a curious and hardworking creative with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for design and the arts. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from NESAD, Suffolk University. I also have an A.A. in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Hands on and enthusiastic about the creative process, I flourish in a team of other passionate problem solvers, collaborating, and inspiring one another to think outside of the box and produce work that is not only innovative, but something to be proud of! My work in visual merchandising developed my eye - and love - for space planning and the design process. I use principles and elements of design to create compositions in existing spaces that would attract customers to shop. It has been rewarding to experience customers emotional responses to the space because of my work, often hearing, “it feels so good in here!”. This is what inspired me to pursue higher education in interior design & architecture - to implement these skills on a larger scale and in a more impactful way. Additional skills I instill in my work ethic include teamwork, communication, problem solving, adaptability, interpersonal skills, time management and self-sufficiency. These all stem from my work in the retail industry. In the workplace, I am a go-getter and have been told numerous times that I exude positive energy. I work best in an environment that celebrates self-expression, respect, core values, and a work-life balance. I love to have fun while getting tasks done and enjoy sharing that with others. I'm the colleague you'll find dancing at their desk when trying to solve a problem or humming a tune to help me focus! Lastly, my personal hobbies include drawing, painting, yoga, dancing, traveling and being outdoors. This is where I seek inspiration and get the creative juices flowing!
