About Kaite Head

Kaite (She/Her) is a producer who works under the company name SKINT based in Naarm (Melbourne). She’s a 2019 VCA graduate who has worked across theatre, comedy, and interactive devised work. ​​In 2023 Kaite brought the award winning shows ‘Jazz Or A Bucket Of Blood’ & ‘Your Mother Chucks Rocks And Shells’ to both the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) and Melbourne Fringe in 2023. Under SKINT she also brought to Melbourne Fringe the show ‘I’m Ready To Talk Now’ which sold out its run and was nominated for Best Experimental Work. For the 2024 MICF she produced 'Annie and Lena Have A Talk Show'(Malthouse), Meaty Sue's Big Farma (Butterfly Club), The John Wilkes Booth (DoubleTree by Hilton), and after such a successful year in 2023 brought back Jazz Or A Bucket Of Blood (Comedy Republic). In addition to producing Kaite also works as a stage manager and has consistently worked with Polyglot Theatre. She has worked on the inaugural seasons of ‘When The World Turns’ (Arts Centre Melbourne), ‘Pram People’ (Melbourne Museum) & ‘Come Back Home’ (The Esplanade. Singapore). Subsequent to the original runs Kaite has also worked on the remounts of ‘Pram People’ in both Melbourne and Hong Kong and the schools touring version of ‘When The World Turns’.
