About Kaitlyn Bailey

I am a senior at the University of Missouri, Columbia, majoring in journalism. Currently, I am an account manager for MOJO Ad, a student-run advertising agency that creates integrated marketing, advertising and public relations campaigns to help brands reach the Youth and Young Adult market (ages 18-24). I developed an interest in advertising after landing an internship at Columbia Marketing Group (now COMO Marketing), where I wrote blog posts and created social media calendars for various clients. Most recently, I was an account management intern at Woodruff, a full-service communications agency. I developed my account-service skills — communication, leadership, time management, project management, organization and delegation — by assisting in the day-to-day client work for brands like Alta Seeds and Vegetables by Bayer. I look forward to honing these skills further in my upper-level journalism courses and senior capstone to prepare me for a job in account service, public relations, social media strategy and other advertising or marketing positions.
