About Kaitlyn Joyce

I am a professional in the Canadian aviation industry with a specialization in business strategy and a love of everything airline. I am the holder of a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Finance and International Business, which have provided me with the analytical thinking skills global perspective I use in my career. This drives my work on the WestJet Commercial Development team, where I support the launch of new commercial initiatives with analysis and process coordination. Previously, I worked at the Prince George Airport Authority as the Manager of Marketing and Air Service Development, where I developed a passion for the industry and gained a strong background in airline economics, business strategy, and project management. I deeply enjoy the process of helping bring new air services to fruition and enabling our guests to explore the world, both from an airport and airline perspective. Personally, I have been described as outgoing, a big-picture thinker, and a brainstormer. I enjoy forming deep connections with people from all backgrounds and walks of life, as well as solving complex problems and generating new ideas. My previous experience includes marketing strategy, business coaching, developmental lending and leadership roles. Outside of work, I love travelling (especially to the newest WestJet destinations!) and exploring the mountains near my home of Calgary.
