About Kaitlyn Kaminski

My name is Kaitlyn Kaminski and I am currently a senior at West Forsyth High School. Throughout my high school experience I have taken various rigorous courses such as Honors Literature, AP Psychology, AP United States History, Spanish one through three, and completed the CTAE Marketing pathway. I am a two time state competitor as well as an active member in the DECA program. I have had the opportunity to have taken a leadership role in the Special Olympics program and be apart of several community service oriented clubs such as the Key Club and National Technical Honors Society. Outside of school, I was a company ballet and contemporary dancer for fifteen years. During the summer before my junior year I obtained my first job at Lifetime Fitness as a full-time summer camp counselor and have continued to work in the Kids Department at Lifetime ever since. Currently, I am working as a Kindergarten teacher in the Viking Village after school program at Vickery Creek Elementary School. Ever since I started working at the school, I have found that I have a passion for teaching and I am planning on pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor degree in Business/ Media Marketing.
