About Kaitlyn Piekarczyk
I am a senior chemical engineering student at the University of Louisville. I have completed over 90 hours towards my bachelor’s degree and will graduate in May 2025. I completed 3 coop rotations with The Chemours Company in Louisville, Kentucky, where I worked with the Manufacturing Technology Team to tackle daily problems on plant, including implementing emission reduction projects and innovative solutions to improve the process while navigating Process Safety Management requirements. I am passionate about working with others to achieve a goal or task, and this is proven in my campus involvement. I have been involved with the Student Organization for Alumni Relations (SOAR) for all 4 years of college and I now serve as the VP of Programming. Additionally on campus, I have focused on student success through working with the Resources for Academic Achievement (REACH) as a Structured Learning Assistant (SLA) for introductory chemistry courses. I also continually work on building relationships with incoming students as a tour guide for the Office of Admissions.
