About Kaitlyn Pool

I am a fine art photographer in San Antonio, TX operating as The Witchy Photographer. My intended clients include galleries, editorial publications, and book publishers focusing on multiple streams of revenue as I pursue exhibition opportunities. My visual style is dreamy and surreal, and often witchy or abstract. My work is subjective and my intention when creating an image is for the viewer to feel something, but allow room for their outcomes in the interpretation. No matter the subject, I manage to convey emotional context in my work in an attempt to influence how people feel when they view it, regardless of the content. I am genuinely delighted when a viewer feels joy from viewing my artwork. My short-term goals are to market my photography and establish a client base as a freelance editorial and fine art photographer. As well as creating multiple series for my photo book ideas as I continue building my portfolio. I am considering continuing to earn an MFA in Photography. My long-term goals are to be relatively well known in the art gallery community through numerous exhibition opportunities, have created multiple successful photo books, and have created many successful editorial projects.
