I am a T32 postdoctoral researcher in the Infant Communication Lab (Dr. Jana Iverson) and the Bilingual Learning Lab (Dr. Kimberly Crespo) at Boston University. I recently received my PhD in Developmental Psychology at Florida International University and am completeing my postdoctoral training in speech, language, and hearing sciences. My PhD work focused on exploring the relations between object manipulation, fine motor skill development, and language in infants and toddlers. My research interests lie in how early infant motor skills relate to later language development and I aim to expand this topic to explore this relationship in a bilingual population.
