About Kajen Singham

I'm passionate about sustainability in all the shapes and forms it can take. Through my education and volunteer efforts, I've chosen to make my impact through the building industry and I'm trying to do my part in developing a more sustainable future through the built environment. Promoting and cementing sustainability in our society has and will continue to be a long term goal of mine. It's what drove me to complete my M.A.Sc, and to participate in professional associations such as ASHRAE and CaGBC. I've chaired various positions in the ASHRAE Toronto Chapter, and lead Design Charrettes with the CAGBC EGP team; done all with the goal of fostering a community, where ideas and connections can be shared to align for a common goal. Through my work, I emphasize the importance of prioritizing the decarbonization of existing buildings and paving the way to a future with opportunities, health, and wellbeing. My goal is to find ways to provide all players the tools, resources, and knowledge needed to make choices that best fit their needs, in a rapidly changing climate.
