For years, my family and husband have been asked, “What exactly does Kajol do?” So, I decided to break it down myself! Hi, I’m Kajol Rustagi. My professional journey began as a journalist, where I had the privilege of working with some of India’s most respected media houses, such as The Indian Express, India Today, and The New Indian Express, from 2017 to the end of 2021. It was an incredible experience that shaped my skills and perspective. However, after 5 years in journalism, I found myself yearning for something more—work that would allow me to make a difference while carving out my own identity. In November 2021, I took the leap and became a solopreneur. This wasn’t just “freelancing.” It was about building a business from the ground up, single-handedly managing operations, and delivering value to my clients. What I Do Today As a solopreneur, I offer services in- Content Writing & Editing: Articles, blogs, case studies, video scripts, website content, annual reports, ghostwriting, and social media posts- Influencer Marketing: Over 500 collaborations with leading creators across India with consistently low CPVs (< ₹0.10). On another note, after almost four years as a solopreneur, I am thrilled to announce the launch of my company, Story Spectrum! At Story Spectrum, we offer a full spectrum of content services, including both written and visual mediums. This marks an exciting new chapter in my professional journey, and I look forward to creating impactful stories for brands and individuals alike.
