About Kaleb Burden

I am a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio, looking for opportunities to develop management skills in order to grow and serve in leadership roles. As a Business Management major, I am interested in how to properly motivate people as well as find ways to contribute to the overall improvement of the performance and efficiency of an organization. The skill sets I have developed while working in the retail, healthcare, and health and wellness settings have allowed me to become adaptive to my work environment and proactively anticipate areas of opportunity while maintaining the ability to change a course of action where there is an immediate need. Working for Conviva Care Solutions gave me an opportunity to develop my emotional intelligence through my interactions with the patients and their family members, my coworkers, upper management, and the clinicians. My Administrator served as a mentor by giving me the opportunity to observe how to handle situations regarding patients scheduling, patient grievances, communication between medical groups, and the organization of the weekly meetings. I was also given developmental guidance on how to handle conflict resolution within the team, how to motivate and inspire the team in order to achieve key performance indicators, and how to manage the daily work environment involved in running a clinic.
