About Kaleb Edwards
I am currently entering my third year as a PhD student in Neuroscience at the Cumming School of Medicine. Having completed my BSc in Cellular and Molecular Biology in June 2023, I am now completing my PhD where I am studying the neurobiological effects of psychedelics within human cortical brain organoids. Outside of academia I work as a part-time firefighter with Rocky View County fire services (RVCFS). As well, I continue to act as a member of the training committee for the Student Medical Response Team at the University of Calgary. Lastly, I will continue to work along side the University of Calgary as a Professional Responder Instructor for Red Cross Canada to deliver FR courses to over 50 SMR responders and faculty/staff, as well as supervise new Instructor Candidates
