I am pursuing a career as a commercial insurance agent. The reason I had this calling is because in this field you have the incredible ability to provide peace of mind and protect what matters most to people, making a profound impact on their lives during both challenging and joyful moments. The reason I feel this way is because I work with customers that pour their heart and soul into the company they have dreamt about. This inspires me and makes me want to be the individual to protect their dream. I am graduating in December 2023, and have worked as a financial assistant at a coating company in the oilfield industry, while also helping coordinate management production for the company. I have been an active member of the Sigma Nu fraternity for 3 years now, over these years I have devoted my time with the fraternity to the community in the pancake festival to give back to better improve the Lubbock community. I am currently interning at Coverica Endless Insurance Solutions where I shadow the commercial sales side of the company and prospect new clients for my mentors. My everyday routine consists of learning about the different types of coverages the new prospect will need to protect their dream business while over time building a unique connection with the client to better understand them and the business.
