My name is Kaleb Luke and I am currently a Senior studying Business Management at Cedarville University. My previous work experiences include- Lawnmowing business (5 years) I started in the lawnmowing business when I was nine years old which laid the foundation of teaching me how to work, pay attention to detail, and build relationships with clients- Lifeguard (4 years)- Kearney Parks and Recreation - Kearney Country Club (1 year) Following that job, I worked as a lifeguard at multiple pools for four years. I was also promoted to Head Guard for two of those years. Lifeguarding taught me how to interact with people, serve others, and lead/supervise a team. I also performed four saves with 100% success rate during my time as a lifeguard- Swim Lesson Instructor (Current)- Private - Public It is my sixth summer- Marina Operations (2 Summers) Next, my job as a Marina operations employee taught me all about efficiency and additional customer relations. I helped coordinate storage, launch, and maintenance of boats- Cedarville University Campus Experience (Current)- Administrative Executive (BZ Navigator)- Operations Executive - Operations Team Member Then, my position as an Executive of Cedarville's Campus Experience Operations team taught me team leadership, coordination, efficiency, and event planning/setup. I recently got promoted to Administrative Executive (BZ Navigator) where I work closely with the Director to lead and manage the team as a whole which includes: Marketing, Operations, Info, Coffee shop, Computer Services, Finance, Campus Activities Board, Student Government, Class Council, and STING Getting Started- Alpha Chi (Current)- Treasurer - Event Coordinator As Alpha Chi's Event Coordinator and Treasurer, I gain experience in communication and organization. Experiences include collaborating with the President of Cedarville University, the Dean of Education, and the other AX Officers. This position is growing my leadership and service skills extensively- Ameritas (Current)- Wealth Management Intern Finally, my job at Ameritas (Barth Financial) has stretched and expounded upon my knowledge of finance. Working with three advisors to prep files, execute projects, sit in meetings, and manage accounts and relationships for over private clients. The culmination of these past work experiences has instilled a rigorous work ethic in me. I enjoy working with others, serving customers, and building relationships, and will look to build on these as I continue in my next endeavors.
