Kaleena Erwin, LMSW, CPM, is a licensed social worker and Certified Public Manager with over a decade of experience in child welfare, public health, and community-based initiatives. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration and specializes in research project management, program evaluation, and systems transformation to support child and family well-being. As a Research Project Manager at the University of Kansas' Center for Public Partnerships and Research, Kaleena leads the implementation and evaluation of Family Strong, a federally funded demonstration grant. This initiative focuses on universal prevention services and collaborative community approaches to prevent child maltreatment and promote thriving families. Her work reflects a deep understanding of the social determinants of health and a steadfast commitment to centering family voices in systemic reform. Kaleena’s expertise includes project management, policy development, stakeholder engagement, curriculum design, and leveraging data for informed decision-making.
