About Kaleena Ipema

As a Program Assistant on the Communications & Public Relations team at Health Quality BC, I look forward to coming into work ready to listen, collaborate with others, and share stories that make an impact. I continually gain experience in strategic communications planning, brand strategy, project management, digital content creation, and of course, my one true love—writing. Whether reading Percy Jackson novels in elementary school, writing essays as an English major, or designing marketing presentations at the UBC Sauder School of Business, my interests have always led me back to one thing: storytelling. No matter what field or industry you find yourself in, the ability to tell stories and communicate effectively is critical to everyone's success, and I love being able to problem solve with words. I am grateful to live, work and play on the unceded ancestral land of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.
