About Kaley Clowdus

As an Academic Advisor at UAB supporting Computer Science students, I blend personalized guidance with AI-informed strategies that help students take ownership of their academic and career journey — from exploring research topics to building standout resumes. With a background in athletics, student affairs, and event coordination, I bring a unique lens to advising; one rooted in high-touch support, creative engagement, and building strong academic communities. I’ve developed programming that boosts student involvement, partnered with local businesses to enhance campus life, and used tools like Starfish and AI to better track progress and foster success. Whether I'm guiding a freshman through their first semester or planning a workshop on career tools, I’m passionate about helping students build the confidence and clarity to reach their goals. Always open to connecting with others in higher ed, tech advising, and student development. Feel free to reach out!
