I’m Kalilah Moon; a nonprofit leader, workforce disruptor, and the Executive Director of Drive Change. Oakland raised. Brooklyn made. Purpose built. At Drive Change, I’m leading an organization that’s redefining what workforce development really looks like; unapologetically centering justice-involved young people, culture, and community. Not as buzzwords; but as non-negotiables. I move between boardrooms, food trucks, block parties, and budget meetings with equal ease; while leading with love, showing up with care, and always asking how we create systems that actually work *for* people. My leadership style? Part visionary, part fixer, part big-sister energy - rooted in building things that last: stronger pathways, better futures, and people who feel seen, valued, and invested in. Living in Flatbush (with a soft spot for carnival season and a good whine), I stay connected to the pulse of community while dreaming big about what equity looks like; not just in the workplace, but in kitchens, in culture, and in life.
