About Kallie Caskey

I have 2 diplomas in Environmental Sciences; Conservation and Restoration Ecology & Water Conservation and Management. With 4 years of wildlife monitoring and a full year of program coordinating in the Oil Sands, I have acquired a thorough understanding of bird behaviours, bird handling, rehabilitation efforts, and environmental compliance. I have excellent skills in identifying species using morphological traits and field markings. I am familiar and comfortable with handling birds and wildlife in various conditions, as well as hazing of birds and wildlife based on species, physical condition, and behaviour. I trained and managed a team of junior wildlife monitors by providing hands on training, knowledge, and support for fieldwork and data collection. I have experience with leadership, supervisory roles and responsibilities, and ensuring the safety and well being of my coworkers is top priority. Throughout the 4 years of environmental survey and consulting, I have managed to create great relationships with clients while still being in compliance with provincial and federal Acts, Rules and Regulations.
