I worked in Income tax department, Govt. of India as Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer for nearly 37 years at different positions starting as Assistant Commissioner. Retired in 2010 as Chief Commissioner of Income tax. Re-employed by Govt. of India as Income tax Ombudsman from February 2011 to January 2013. Thereafter mainly working as Tax Consultant at Delhi. In addition to consultancy work I am also vising faculty member in Amity University, NOIDA and Independent External Monitor with National Textiles Corporation, a Public Sector Enterprise of Govt. of India.
