Background
About Kamarul Basir
I started my journey on stage as an entertainer, performing beatbox and eventually becoming the founder of a beatbox community in Sabah. What began as a passion for rhythm and performance opened doors for me to represent the art form.Later, I took a new path in hospitality, beginning my career in the Food & Beverage team at Shangri-La Rasa Ria. This experience gave me a strong foundation in service, teamwork, and guest experience.Over time, my career grew into sales, where I now focus on the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events) segment. Today, I combine my background in entertainment and hospitality to create memorable experiences, connect with people, and contribute to the success of every event I’m part of.
