About Kami Dunning

I started my career with LensCrafters in 2006 as a part-time sales associate. I visited one of the locations with my grandmother to help her find a great pair of glasses that weren't round with a 65 eye size. It was not an easy task finding something out of her comfort zone that she loved. However, I showed her my favorite pair and why I liked them the best. She agreed and we sat down to purchase. We waited the hour and came back to try them on. Now that her RX was in them, she could really see what they looked like on. She just smiled and said," It's definitely different." But she was smiling because she had a new look that made her feel beautiful. That was the beginning of my career with LensCrafters. Since then, I've had the pleasure of working with a diverse group of people who have come and gone and taught me things throughout our travels. I've worked with the OD, in the lab, on the retail floor, and in several locations. In 2014, I received a new title ( Licensed Retail Manager) and relocated. I love it. It was quite an adjustment, also, a great learning opportunity. My overall goal is to lead a team that is passionate and wants to make everyones grandmother smile because she feels beautiful in her new glasses.
