What started as helping care for my younger siblings has evolved into a passion-driven career spanning over two decades in early childhood development and small business operations. As a military spouse and licensed childcare provider, I've successfully operated my own state-licensed childcare business for 25+ years while adapting to relocations across multiple states and countries. Running an independent childcare business has required me to master comprehensive business operations including financial management, regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, client relationship management, scheduling and resource allocation, marketing and business development, and quality assurance systems - all as a solo operator managing every aspect of the business. I've maintained continuous state licensing requirements, earned the highest quality ratings available (5-Star OK DHS), and built long-term client retention through exceptional service delivery while working independently with complete autonomy and accountability. My diverse professional background also includes office administration experience across automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, and sales environments, plus nonprofit executive experience where I gained valuable insights into HR functions, financial operations, and organizational compliance. Currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Child Development and Early Intervention at Southeastern Oklahoma State University (graduating 2026). I'm an Oklahoma Scholars for Excellence in Early Childhood Education scholarship recipient with Certified Healthy Oklahoma Merit & Excellence Awards and 20+ years of continuous professional licensing and regulatory compliance experience.
