About Kamila Ligus

As a Data Technician at Stats NZ, I worked on one of New Zealand's biggest projects, processing approximately 7 million completed census forms. I applied definitions, concepts, and classifications to produce comparable and consistent datasets, using geospatial standards, ANZSIC, and harmonised classification. I also reviewed and validated data using automated techniques and data confrontation, and applied linking methodologies and appropriate checking. Prior to that, I was a Junior Project Manager at Optec, a company that specialises in delivering comprehensive cybersecurity solutions. I liaised with customers to determine and define project scope and objectives, and managed customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle. I also assisted in tracking project milestones, developing and managing a detailed project schedule and work plan, and measuring project performance. Additionally, I assisted in allocating Optec engineering resources, working with the service desk to ensure customer support SLAs, and managing relationships with vendors and suppliers. With over three years of combined experience in data and project management, I have developed strong skills in Salesforce Lightning, Sage 200cloud, Geospatial Information Systems, Python, SQL, and Agile and Waterfall methodologies. I also hold a BSc in Economics, a BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, an NSE 3 Network Security Associate certification, and an ACCA Management Accounting qualification. I am passionate about delivering high-quality data and project solutions that meet customer needs and expectations, and that support business growth and innovation.
